Description
Galvanized square pipe is a hollow square section steel pipe with a specific shape and size. In the first step, a hot or cold rolling method is used to treat galvanized strip or galvanized coil. These materials become harder and more durable after being treated at high or low temperatures. In the second step, these treated billets are cold-bent into the desired shape. This process requires precise control to ensure that the final galvanized square pipe has the correct size and shape. In this process, the inside of the galvanized square pipe will form a hollow structure, which can effectively reduce the weight of the steel pipe, but also increase its strength and stability.
Finally, these cold-bent galvanized square pipes are welded together at high frequency to form a complete steel pipe. This process requires the use of high-frequency electric current, through the heat generated by the current to melt the joint part of the steel pipe, so as to achieve a seamless connection.
Another method of manufacturing galvanized square rectangular pipe is to first make cold formed hollow steel pipe, and then hot dip galvanized.
