What is the thickness standard of galvanized pipe?

Galvanized pipe thickness standards are as follows:

1. the thickness of the workpiece is greater than or equal to 6 mm, the average thickness should be greater than 85 microns.

2. the local thickness should be greater than 70 microns workpiece thickness is less than 6 mm greater than 3 mm, the average thickness should be greater than 70 microns.

3. the local thickness should be greater than 55 microns workpiece thickness is less than 3 mm greater than 1.5 mm, the average thickness should be greater than 55 microns.

4. local thickness should be greater than 45 microns This standard does not include galvanized layer after centrifugal separation treatment.

Types of galvanized pipe:

1. Hot dip galvanized pipe: make the molten metal react with the iron matrix, so that the alloy layer can be produced, and the matrix and the coating can be combined. Hot dip galvanizing is to first pickling the steel pipe. In order to remove the iron oxide on the surface of the steel pipe, it is also necessary to clean the steel pipe through ammonium chloride, zinc chloride aqueous solution, ammonium chloride chloride or zinc chloride mixed aqueous solution tank after pickling, and then sent into the hot dip plating tank. Hot dip galvanizing has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion and long service life.

2. cold galvanized pipe: cold galvanized pipe is electric galvanized, galvanized amount is very small, only 10-50g/m2, its own corrosion resistance is much different than hot galvanized pipe. Regular galvanized pipe manufacturers, in order to ensure quality, most do not use galvanizing (cold plating). Only small businesses with obsolete equipment use galvanizing, and of course their prices are relatively cheap. At present, the Ministry of Construction has formally below, eliminate the backward technology of cold galvanized pipe, the future is not allowed to use cold galvanized pipe as water, gas pipe.

3. hot dip galvanized steel pipe: steel pipe matrix and molten plating solution of complex physical and chemical reactions, the formation of corrosion resistance structure of tight zinc - iron alloy layer. Then the alloy layer is integrated with the pure zinc layer and the steel tube matrix. Therefore, its corrosion resistance is strong.

4. cold galvanized steel pipe: zinc layer is electric coating, zinc layer and steel pipe matrix independent stratification. Zinc layer is thin, zinc layer is simply attached to the steel tube matrix, easy to fall off. So its corrosion resistance is poor. It is prohibited to use cold galvanized steel pipes as water supply pipes in newly built houses.
